A contemporary wood and iron sleigh bed finished in Shiny Pewter with glints of gold for tough of antiquing . The lower 2/3rds of the 2″ posts are made from wood finished with a dark mahogany stain, a color combination for wood and metal popular in case goods today. The 54″ headboard and 36″ footboard have castings along the top rails and posts. There are three “strap” castings connecting the two top rails and a large casting at the top.
