Larger and more dramatic than their English antecedents, West Indies beds reflected the exuberant spirit of the West Indian craftsmen. This bed features a great variety of hand-carved and turned elements found on West Indies beds, including pineapple carving, turned feet and disk turnings. The headboard features a brilliant swirl-off-crotch mahogany veneer.
